What’s more fun than playing with play dough? Making your own! This recipe is so easy to make and such a pleasure to work with. We added essential oils in delicious flavors like bubblegum and blue cotton candy for even more fun.

By the way…you can skip the food coloring if you want a little less mess. Boom! Now it’s two-ingredient play dough!

Essential oils are not edible and should not be consumed. Make sure young children are supervised at all times while making this craft to avoid consumption.

3-Ingredient Homemade Scented Play Dough

2 cups cornstarch
1 cup inexpensive hair conditioner
Food coloring
Essential oils. Some scents you can use are Apple, Blueberry Pancakes, Cotton Candy, Bubblegum, Chocolate, Kiwi Watermelon.

1. Place the cornstarch in a large bowl. Mix in the conditioner with your hands until it comes together and is very smooth. Add a little more cornstarch or conditioner as needed until you reach the perfect consistency.

2. Divide the playdough into up to four sections and color as desired. Add essential oils in assorted scents for extra fun!

With fun scents and lots of imagination, the possibilities for this activity are endless! Have fun!
