One of my favorite memories of Purim as a kid is dressing up for the Purim festivities at school, decked out with accessories, face paint/makeup, and my hair done to perfection with clips and hairspray.

As a parent, however, there’s so much more to consider before sending your little ones off to school for Purim, especially for toddlers and babies.

You want them to be comfortable. Which means a costume that’s not tight, too warm, rough, itchy etc. Their costumes have to last them the whole day in school. Which is why I always go for pajama costumes.

At home, it’s a different story. Dress them in the cutest costume you can find. But for dressing up in school, here are my top pajama costume picks.

Scroll all the way to the bottom for solid color PJ’s and tips on how to transform them into an adorable little costume, too!
