These 2 Ingredient Grape Juice Jello Cups Will Keep The Kids Happy All Seder Long!

Kedem Grape Juice is a staple in every Jewish home. It’s something we all have in our pantry, know, and love, and it’s especially something that kids adore, a special treat that fills them with the feeling of Shabbat each week.

Not only is it a classic, but it’s also really underused in my opinion. There are so many ways to incorporate it in fun ways on Shabbat and Yom Tov, and what better time to experiment with it than for Passover?

Which leads me to these adorable Grape Juice Jello Cups.

They require just 2 ingredients, take minutes to make, and are completely spill-proof.

It’s an all-around perfect treat to keep the kids happy all Seder long!

Here's how to make them.

Ingredients:

2 cups Kedem Grape Juice

1 (3-ounce) box Gefen Clear Jell Dessert

Directions:

  1. In a small pot, bring the 2 cups of grape juice to a simmer, until small bubbles start to appear around the edge.
  2. Remove pot from the stove and mix in the jello mix. Divide into glasses and refrigerate until firm, about 45 to 60 minutes.

Below are some cups we recommend using. If you have extra time, cheaper versions can be found at local kosher grocery stores or Amazing Savings.

I realize the point is the grape juice but can this recipe be adapted for other juices? Or is there something unique about grape juice that helps with the jelling?

We haven’t tested this with other juices but it should work! Let us know if you try it. That’s so creative!

We recommend each person asks their Rav for the appropriate bracha.
