They sliced, diced, and sautéed their way to the top. Now, the heat is on in the kosher kitchen as four accomplished cooks compete for a $5,000 prize and bragging rights as the first-ever Food Fight Champion.

 

Each episode of FOOD FIGHT will show what these passionate foodies can do with 30 minutes and one key ingredient. Their challenge: to create the dish that’s more beautiful, better executed, and above all, more delicious than the rest.

The Contestants

 

The Final Four:

 

  • Rivky Kleiman, Lakewood, NJ. Co-author, Bais Yaakov cookbooks.
    • After teaching for many years, I co-wrote the two Bais Yaakov cookbooks, and I’ve been moonlighting as a recipe developer for Family Table for many years. I like to keep myself busy and always quip that you can most often find me in one of my two offices, my kitchen and my car.
       
  • Brynie Greisman, Jerusalem, Israel. Founder, Tasty Low-Fat Creations.
    • I’ve been developing recipes for Mishpacha for over a decade. My passion is doable recipes with readily available ingredients, usually with a healthy twist. I also have a business called Tasti Low-Fat Creations, selling whole-wheat, low-fat baked goods of many varieties.
       
  • Chaia Frishman, Far Rockaway, NY. Owner, Fruit Platters and More.
    • Developing recipes in my kitchen doesn’t only feed my family, it also fuels my creativity. When I’m not tinkering with ingredients, I run a business called Fruit Platters and More with my husband, Eliahu. I’ve also been an educator in Yeshiva Darchei Torah for 25 years and write on the side.
       
  • Rorie Weisberg, Monsey, NY. Health coach and founder, Full n’ Free.
    • I’m a health coach and the founder of Full ‘n Free. You know how much I love cooking and eating healthfully. I believe in cooking for my family in a way that doesn’t compromise on deliciousness.

A Game of Elimination
Recipes from Previous Rounds

In each round of Food Fight, the contestants had to come up with recipes that featured a different secret ingredient, transforming it into a culinary masterpiece that was completely new, creative, and unique. After a week of voting ran its course, after each round, one more contestant was eliminated.
