If you’re planning an event and are looking for a trendy, beautiful, and delicious food station that will wow your guests, then a churro station is the way to go!

It can be dressed up or down depending on your serving dishes and linens, is so easy to plate beautifully with stylish cups, and is appropriate during any season.

The best part about a churro station? With Haddar’s new frozen churros, you can “make” them completely on your own. It comes in two varieties, regular size and mini. All you have to do is take them out of the packaging, cook them up, and serve! They are the perfect addition to any large or small celebration and couldn’t make for an easier party dessert.

To take them up about 10 notches, serve them with a variety of homemade dipping sauces.

Below we’re sharing 4 incredibly easy sauces that will absolutely MAKE your event!

For the bar, you will need:

Haddar Churros, regular and mini size
Disposable serving cups (I got some from Amazon and some from my local grocery store)
Bamboo knot skewers
Serving pieces
Flowers and/or succulents
Tablecloth
Dipping sauces (recipes below!)

Raspberry Sauce

Yields: approximately 10 to 12 servings

Ingredients:

1 heaping tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup cold water
12 ounces frozen raspberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 ounce lime juice (about 2 tablespoons)

Instructions:

1. Mix cornstarch with cold water. Stir until cornstarch is completely dissolved.

2. Put frozen raspberries into a saucepot over medium/low heat until berries are thawed and juicy.

3. Whisk in cornstarch/water mixture and increase heat to medium-high.

4. Continue to stir until the sauce boils and thickens. Reduce heat to medium and stir in sugar and lime juice. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool. Serve warm, room temp or chilled.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce

Yields: approximately 10 to 12 servings

Ingredients:

12 ounces white baking chocolate
6 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup heavy cream or Rich’s Whip

Directions:

1. Melt chocolate over a double boiler.

2. Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter and heavy cream.

Classic Chocolate Sauce

Yields: approximately 8 to 10 servings

Ingredients:

3 and 1/2 ounces (1 bar) dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream or Rich’s Whip

Directions:

1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler.

2. Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream.

Maple Sauce

Yields: approximately 8 to 10 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup heavy cream or Rich’s Whip
2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine

Directions:

1. Combine the maple syrup, cream, and butter in a medium saucepan placed over medium-high heat.

2. Stir to blend and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue boiling, occasionally stirring, for five minutes.

3. Lower the heat if the mixture looks like it may boil over. Cook until the sauce can coat the back of a spoon.
