Diets UPDATED RECIPE All you’ll need is whole dates, chocolate, and sticks to poke into the dates; coconut oil and toppings are optional. Enjoy and have a sweet new year! Click here for more ways to incorporate simanim into your Rosh Hashanah meals!
whole dates
chocolate chips or a whole bar
coconut oil (optional)
crushed nuts or other topping (optional)
candy apple sticks
Slice open a date and remove the pit. Place a skewer in the cavity, then close up the date again around it, pinching together slightly.
Melt your chocolate and (optionally) add a tablespoon of coconut oil so the chocolate will harden faster. After, dip the date pop into the chocolate and let all the excess drip off. If you’d like, sprinkle on some toppings.
Freeze for 10 to 15 minutes and you got yourself a no-bake date pop!
