This is an easy, hearty supper that will be enjoyed equally by children and adults. Don’t expect any leftovers. Watch us make it!
1 box manicotti noodles, uncooked
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup Gefen Seasoned Bread Crumbs or other flavored bread crumbs
1/4 cup Glicks Ketchup
1/4 cup grated onion
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup Gefen Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 cup water
32 ounces Gefen Marinara Sauce
1/4 cup Glicks Ketchup
1/8 cup brown sugar, packed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef with the bread crumbs, grated onion, egg, and cranberry sauce. Stuff the seasoned beef mixture into the manicotti shells.
Arrange the manicotti in a single layer in a lightly greased 9×13-inch Pyrex or oven-to-tableware dish.
Pour water over manicotti. Add marinara sauce and pour evenly over the noodles. Cover well and bake for 1 hour.
Combine ketchup and brown sugar for glaze. Baste the manicotti with the glaze and return to oven for an additional 10 minutes, uncovered.

Make ahead What is the best way to prepare this in advance and freeze it?
I would bake the whole thing and then freeze, then all you need to do is warm it up.
marinara sauce..:( we have some ppl who dont love the flavor of marinara sauce.. any ideas for a variation cuz i would love to make this!
thanks
I also prefer pizza sauce to marinara. It’s a bit sweeter. Try that!
Add water? This looks delicious!
I noticed that the recipe calls for water to be poured on top of the stuffed mnicottis before the maranara sauce but I don’t see it added in the video. What is the correct way?
Which video are you asking about?
The Shortcuts video for this recipe.
I made it personally and added the water. You need the water. To cook the raw pasta.

You can use apricot preserves or your favorite jelly.
Can dark ground chicken be used instead of meat?

Can’t make this enough! This is my go to when I can’t think what else to make for Shabbos, great man course great first course. I’ve also made it with large shells and wonton wrappers. The kids love seeing it come out of the kitchen.
