Diets Readers, this is legitimately the simplest pizza dough I have ever come across. You can just mix it and use it; no need for any rising time. The baking powder ensures fluffy results without the wait.
Yield: 2 (12-inch) pizzas
2 and 1/2 cups Glicks Flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
1 (26-ounce) jar Tuscanini Pizza Sauce or vodka sauce
25–30 ounces shredded cheese, any
your favorite toppings
If you’ll be using your oven to cook the pizza, preheat it to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, milk, and oil by hand until a smooth dough forms. (For easy cleanup, mix ingredients by smushing them around in a sealed zip-top bag. Once a dough is formed, turn the bag inside out to remove it.)
Divide the dough in half. With oiled hands, shape into two 12-inch rounds (they will be thin).
Spread between 1/4 and 1/2 of the jar of sauce onto each dough, according to taste.
Top with cheese and toppings of your choice.
To cook in the oven: Transfer pizza to a baking sheet lined with Gefen Parchment Paper or a pizza pan and bake 15–20 minutes, until the crust is slightly browned and the cheese is bubbling. To cook in a Betty Crocker pizza maker: bake seven to 10 minutes.
