We use this as a spread on matzah instead of peanut butter. It’s delicious!
1/2 cup toasted almonds
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey or sugar
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Blend all ingredients in food processor until smooth.
Yields about 1/2 cup.

Love it! Can it freeze? We finally gave homemade almond butter a try … and it’s delicious and so worth it! I may have been a little too enthusiastic at the outset and made a tad – way – too much. Do you think I can take a chance on freezing some?
It’s pretty naturally preserved so no reason to freeze. I do store mine in the fridge though.
