Besides for the usual cold drinks and coffee, I like to serve a specialty drink to my guests. This hot cocoa is the perfect thing, especially on a cold Chanukah night! I keep it warm by putting the drink in a pretty thermos I bought in Williams-Sonoma; it’s not cheap, but a very worthwhile investment. I really enjoy it every time I entertain.
6 cups milk
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
5 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
2 tablespoons Gefen Cocoa Powder
2 tablespoons sugar
Add all ingredients to a medium pot and bring to a simmer over a low heat. Stir to combine.
