How to This recipe sounds delicious. How do you make the strawberry and blueberry filling? When it says combine all ingredients and bring to a boil? Does it need water? How much? Thanks x

No water is needed, the natural juices and sugars from the fruit will create enough liquid. Enjoy!

frozen blueberries and/or strawberries another question. I did make it and the flavor was great, but the crumb topping wasn’t crumbly enough more lumpy. What would you suggest.

frozen blueberries and/or strawberries Saw the recipe. Looks great. Can frozen blueberries and/or strawberries be used or do they need to be fresh. If yes to the frozen what needs to be done with the extra liquid.

You can definitely use frozen, just make sure they are defrosted and then there shouldn’t be a liquid issue. It will be delicious either way!

Individual Ramekins How long would these need to bake if done individually instead of a big pan?

I would do it for half an hour and see if it’s fully cooked.

Great Excellent
I am so happy when I find a recipe that doesn’t contain either butter or margarine.
This recipe is perfect – it’s delicious
I didn’t have blueberries so I put canned peaches mixed with fresh strawberries
Super easy recipe – I love that – would love to get more recipes like this
Thank you very much

Amazing and ez I made this late friday afternoon and it’s really easy…
I wanted to do half apple and half blueberry strawberry but I was out of blueberry so I made it with half apple mixture and the other half combination of frozen peaches and strawberries. The taste was out of this world! The strawberry/peach mixture infused such a delicious flavor in the apple everyone gobbled it up and asked for double. This recipe will iyh become a regular in my house

Heavenly!!!! I made it half apple, and half blueberry-strawberry. With the apples on bottom and the rest on top. It came out sooo good! The only thing i would do differently next time is to lower the sugar content in the fruit mixture. Otherwise, really the best apple crumble! TY!

Was a hit! I made this recipe because I was getting bored of the apple cranberry crumble that everyone always makes. The strawberry/Blueberry was a huge hit! Every couldn’t get enough of it. Will definitely be making this more often!

Mmmm… This recipe is way better than other fruit crumbles/kugels. The taste is authentic and unique. I made the strawberry/blueberry version and everyone asked for the recipe. Will definitely make it again.
