Sometimes the funniest things go so well together. A sweet fruit with a savory deli salad is the perfect combination. When I was testing this recipe, my family was fighting over the ends of the salad – it went so fast!
lettuce (any kind works), chopped
Tirat Zvi Smoked Turkey Breast, shredded thinly
1 red apple, sliced in 1/4 rounds (peel on)
3 Persian cucumbers, sliced
handful of pecans
handful of Gefen Dried Cranberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
3 tablespoons Gefen Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sugar
salt
pepper
1 and 1/2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon Glicks Soy Sauce
1 clove crushed garlic (or 1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic)
In a jar, shake the dressing until well mixed. (You will likely have extra. This dressing lasts a few weeks in the fridge.)
Assemble the salad. Place the lettuce and components in a bowl. Drizzle the dressing over it and serve.
