Diets This recipe resembles Yapchik, so I love to make it every Shabbos. In addition, the apples and strawberries make it the perfect dessert.
5 Cortland apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 bag frozen strawberries
1/2 tablespoon Tuscanini Lemon Juice
1/4 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup Glicks Flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/4 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix the sliced apples with the lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Add the strawberries.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cover tightly and bake for two hours.
Mix together all the crumb ingredients until combined into a crumbly mixture.
Remove apples from the oven. Add the crumbs mixture on top.
Bake uncovered at 350 for an additional hour.
Serve hot.
