4 big Cortland apples
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
apricot jam, such as Tuscanini
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil, such as Manischewitz Grapeseed Oil
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1 cup Glicks Flour
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
Core the inside of the apple and cut off the very end top just to create a flat surface.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples.
Add one teaspoon of apricot jam inside of the apples, and spread some on the flat surface of the apples.
Apply heavily crumbs on top of the apples.
Cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 20 minutes, or until apples are soft.
Optional: Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
