Baked “Spies” (Sweet Potato Fries)

This is a favorite side dish that doesn’t usually make it to the table!

Ingredients

  • 5 large sweet potatoes, peeled

  • oil

  • salt, to taste

  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Prepare:

1.

Slice sweet potatoes into wedges. Spread onto greased cookie sheet. Drizzle oil over sweet potatoes, enough to amply cover. Season with salt and pepper.

2.

Bake, covered, in 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes or until soft. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes or until top of sweet potatoes are crunchy.

3.

Turn over wedges. Bake a few minutes more, until desired texture is reached.
