Balsamic String Beans

I like to include string beans in most of my Friday night meals. It’s a quick, easy vegetable side dish that most of my family enjoys. But we needed a flavor change after years of seasoning it with sesame (which is also tasty). This is new twist.   I love this recipe because there are no dirty pots or pans—I put it all together in one disposable tin.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place string beans in a baking pan.
2. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over string beans. Add garlic, salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
3. Cover and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

Notes:

I love this recipe because there are no dirty pots or pans—I put it all together in one disposable tin.

Variations:

Garnish the string beans with very finely diced red onion.
