1. Place chicken into a slow cooker and sprinkle lightly with salt. In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour sauce over chicken and cover slow cooker. Cook on high heat for three hours.
2. Remove chicken from pot and shred with two forks. Return to pot and stir to combine with sauce. Cook for an additional 15 minutes and serve.
3. To serve, top bread with chicken. We liked it over frank buns. It’s great over rice or mashed potatoes as well.
