While visiting a friend, he handed me a tray of crispy-looking chips that had just come off the grill. I grabbed one and was pleasantly surprised by the deep, rich flavors that hit my palate. I knew that I needed to make something elegant out of these crispy beef fry chips. I chose to pair them with enoki mushrooms for these delicious beef fry bouquets.
3 packages enoki mushrooms, ends trimmed
1 (4-ounce) package beef fry, cut in half
Gather enoki mushrooms into small bunches and wrap each with beef fry. Secure by inserting a toothpick through the middle.
Heat a dry skillet over high heat, then pan-fry the beef fry-wrapped mushrooms until beef fry is crisp and browned on all sides.
