Diets Beets are often underrated as an ingredient. Some people are scared off because they don’t know what to do with them. Well, that’s not a problem anymore! These four amazing recipes using beets will have doubters and lovers alike headed to the beet aisle!
1 tablespoon Bartenura Olive Oil
3 shallots, thinly sliced
1 parbaked pizza crust
3 Gefen Organic Beets, sliced
2-3 ounces goat cheese, sliced or crumbled
salt, for sprinkling
black pepper, for sprinkling
dried or fresh thyme, for sprinkling
1 handful spring greens
Bartenura Balsamic Vinegar, for drizzling
Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over low heat. Add shallots and cook until golden, 15-20 minutes. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Top pizza crust with beets, goat cheese, shallots, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Bake until cheese is melted and crust is lightly golden (about eight to 10 minutes).
Top pizza with greens and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
