Ingredients

Borscht

  • 2 bunches beets, peeled and sliced

  • bones of 2 chickens, legs, wings and breast bones

  • 3 quarts water

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic (optional)

Directions

Prepare the Borscht

1.

In six quart pot, cook beets and chicken bones in water for two hours or until beets are tender.

2.

Add remaining ingredients and cook for additional 15 minutes.
