Diets This savory cabbage filling is a great alternative to the classic cheese or potato filling. Quick to put together, make the filling in advance and refrigerate for easy and quick prep.
1/2 cup oil
1 head of cabbage, shredded
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper, optional
blintz leaves, homemade or store-bought
Sauté cabbage and seasonings in oil over low heat for approximately 45 minutes to one hour, stirring occasionally.
