Nut Filling (For Blintzes)

Ingredients

Nut Filling

  • 1/2 cup sugar

Blintzes

  • blintz leaves, homemade or store-bought

Directions

Prepare the Nut Filling

1.

Beat egg whites until frothy, add ground walnuts to form a pasty substance.

2.

Add lemon and sugar.

3.

Place two tablespoons filling onto each blintz. Roll up.

Variation:

One finely shredded apple may be subsituted for egg whites.
