12 pizza dough rounds
6 cheese sticks
toppings you enjoy on your pizza
egg, for brushing on, for extra shine
sesame seeds or everything bagel spice for extra decoration
marinara sauce, for dipping
Fully defrost pizza dough until it has risen a little bit.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put two rolls together and roll into a rectangular shape. (This does not need to be perfect.)
Place a cheese stick onto the rectangle of dough. If you like toppings on your pizza, you might choose to put those toppings inside of the dough along with the cheese stick. Some ideas include olives, mushrooms, or garlic.
Pinch the dough firmly around the cheese, making sure that it is well-sealed.
For an added touch, you can egg the top of the calzone and sprinkle sesame seeds or everything but the bagel spice on top.
Bake at 350 for approximately 15 minutes until golden broken.
Wash, make a bracha, and enjoy! Dipping it in marinara sauce is extra delicious, if you like marinara of course!
