2 sheets puff pastry dough
your favorite knish filling (I used instant mashed potatoes)
1 egg
sesame or poppy seeds (optional)
Spread out puff pastry dough.
Use cookie cutters to cut the dough into desired shapes.
Put the shapes onto a baking sheet and top with your favorite filling.
Cover with another puff pastry matching shape.
Egg and add sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
