Diets 2 cups flour
1 pound farmer cheese
3 eggs
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs
2 tablespoons butter or oil
2 tablespoons sugar
Combine first 4 ingredients to form soft dough. Form into long ropes and cut into 1″ pieces.
In a 6 quart pot, bring water to a boil and drop shlishkes. Cook for 10 minutes.
Remove from pot and rinse well in cold water, drain.
In a frying pan, melt butter. Toast bread crumbs and sugar. Toss shlishkes in crumbs until heated through.
