A crisp and fresh salad you’ll eat with your eyes first! Roll up strips of turkey and tuck them among the lettuce after the rest of the salad is tossed to recreate this beautiful look. Serve with a classic Russian dressing.
1 package Tirat Zvi Mexican Style Turkey Breast
1/4 to 1/2 pound cooked chicken, pastrami, or roast beef
2 heads romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
5 eggs, hard boiled and sliced
1/3 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
2 cucumbers, sliced
2 tablespoons thinly sliced red onion
3 radishes, sliced thinly
chopped cleaned parsley, for garnish (optional)
1/2 cup Gefen Mayonnaise
1/3 cup Glicks Ketchup
1/4 cup relish
2 tablespoons Gefen Lemon Juice
1 tablespoon fresh minced onion
1 teaspoon Manischewitz Horseradish
1 teaspoon paprika
salt to taste
Combine dressing ingredients in a jar, mix well, and set aside.
Arrange salad with eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and onion. Add turkey breast and if using chicken or beef, shred and add to the salad.
Dress salad and add salt to taste. Optional: garnish with chopped parsley.
