you can do a homemade version using the following ingredeints (and even leaving out the apricot jam!):
¾ C all-natural apricot jam
4 Tbsp rice vinegar
½ tsp low sodium soy sauce
2 medium cloves fresh minced garlic*
1 tsp fresh minced ginger*
½ tsp chili powder
1/16 tsp cayenne powder (or to taste)

Hi Michal! I apologize for such a delayed response.
I haven’t personally done so but I imagine if you freeze the mixture right away you shouldn’t have an issue. I would recommend not freezing for more than a few weeks.
Happy cooking!
