Diets As part of my business, people order breakfast packages to send to friends and family. These are by far the most popular pastries I put in!
Yield: 25 muffins
3 cups Glicks Flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2/3 cup oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
8 ounces whipped cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line muffin tins with paper liners.
For the chocolate batter, first combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the bowl and mix until combined. Set aside.
For cheese filling, beat together ingredients until smooth (I use an electric mixer for the batter and filling, but it can also be done by hand).
Fill muffin cups three-fourths full with chocolate batter. Place two teaspoons cheese filling on top and swirl with a toothpick for a marbleized look. BakeĀ in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
