Diets When my friend Hindy invited me to her daughter’s bridal shower in Deal, New Jersey, I immediately offered to bring dessert. I elevated my chocolate cheese muffins with a store-bought crust for a delicious crunchy upgrade. They were a massive hit and disappeared instantly. A must try treat for a milchig event!
one pack of 16 mini tart shells, 1.77 inch (can be found in the baking section)
1/3 cup Glicks Flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1/8 cup oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
1/4 teaspoon Gefen Vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Tuscanini Chocolate Sauce and more for drizzling
2 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon beaten egg (beat 1 egg, measure a tablespoon, and use the rest for another purpose)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 cup sugar
1/8 cup Glicks Flour
1/4 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium-size bowl, place flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt , oil, vinegar, water, and chocolate sauce. Mix with a spoon and set aside.
In another small bowl, place cream cheese, egg, and sugar and mix with a spoon and set aside.
In a third bowl, place sugar, flour, vanilla sugar and melted margarine and mix with a spoon and set aside.
Place tarts on a baking sheet. Fill tarts by placing chocolate batter three-fourths full, then add one teaspoon of cheese batter. Using a knife, lift a small amount of chocolate batter from the bottom to the top to make a marbled effect than sprinkle crumbs. Bake on 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
