Diets These sweet cinnamon-sugar pastries are made from pizza dough, so you can cut the prep and get to noshing quicker. You definitely want to use real butter here, not margarine.
16 ounces store-bought pizza dough
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons caramel
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and coconut sugar.
On a floured surface, roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread butter and caramel over the dough. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture on top. Fold the dough in half and cut into 12 strips. Twist each strip and then tie into a knot.
Place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
