1 tomato, sliced
1/4 red onion, cut into thin rings
lettuce
sesame burger buns
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for eight minutes. Flip and cook for an additional eight minutes.
While the burgers are cooking, prepare the sauce. Mix everything together in a bowl and set aside.
Optional: toast the bun before assembling.
When the burger is cooked, assemble with sauce, tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, and two burgers per sandwich.
