Ingredients

Cold Fruit Soup

  • 1/2 pound plums, pitted

  • 1/2 pound cherries

  • 1/2 pound peaches, sliced

  • 7 cups water

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons Gefen Cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water or sweet red wine

  • 5 ounces sour cream (optional)

Directions

Prepare the Cold Fruit Soup

1.

In a four-quart saucepan, place fruits with water and sugar. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.

Blend until smooth. Stir dissolved cornstarch into soup.

3.

Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until thickened. Chill well. Serve cold, topped with sour cream.
