Ingredients

Corn Ribs

  • 4 fresh cobs of corn

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4–1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2.

Using a very sharp, large knife, cut cobs in half lengthwise and then in quarters (see note).

3.

Place corn ribs on baking sheet.

4.

In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.

5.

Coat corn ribs on all sides.

6.

Bake for 35–45 minutes.

Tips:

If you find cutting the entire cob of corn too difficult, you can cut it in half across the width before you start.
