Combine cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, and water.

Pour mixture over steaks. Cover tightly in 9-x-13 inch aluminum pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for two and a half hours.
Tip:
To use this recipe for a whole roast, use a three to five pound roast (a French roast works very well) and double sauce recipe. Bake in large Dutch oven for three and a half to four hours.
