Diets These rich chocolate cookies are stuffed with a surprise sweet cream cheese filling!
1 (8-ounce) block unwhipped cream cheese
3 and 1/2 cups Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar
2 tablespoons Glicks Flour
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 and 1/4 cups Glicks Flour
1/2 cup Gefen Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
To make filling, mix cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, flour and vanilla sugar. Drop tablespoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet and freeze for at least an hour and a half. Roll into balls, then return to the freezer until ready to use.
While the cream cheese filling is in the freezer, prepare the cookie dough.
Cream butter and sugars, then add vanilla and eggs. Gradually add flour, cocoa, and baking soda. Mix until combined, then add chocolate chips.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Scoop cookie dough into balls using a medium-sized scoop. Flatten out the dough and place a frozen cream cheese ball in the center. Mold the dough around the cream cheese, making sure it is completely covered. Repeat with remaining cookie dough and cream cheese filling.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

I made these in advance for Shavuos, froze them and then defrosted in the fridge. They were rich, sweet and creamy – delicious! I’m not one to alter recipes, but cut out a cup of confectioners’ sugar from the filling and they were still extremely sweet.
Hi. This looks amazing. I was wondering how I can make these & freeze them for Shavuot?
Definitely! Bake them and let cool completely, then wrap well and freeze.
