An easy-to-make, thick glaze that takes just a few minutes to prepare and pours very beautifully onto a cake. If you want a thicker glaze, let it sit until it’s spreadable. This creamy chocolate glaze has a very beautiful shine to it and will really enhance any cake.
6 tablespoons Gefen Cocoa
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/3 cup shortening
1 egg yolk
Bring first three ingredients to a boil, cook only until liquefied.
Cream shortening and egg until light and fluffy.
Combine with chocolate mixture until smooth.
