Start Cooking

Prepare the Crispy Molasses Microwave Granola

  1. In a large, microwave-safe bowl mix oats, nuts, seeds, salt, and cinnamon together until well combined.

  2. Add melted coconut oil, tahini, honey, and molasses and mix until distributed equally.

  3. Microwave on high for two minutes, then stir mixture well.

  4. Microwave on high for another two minutes or until mixture appears dry, and stir well.

  5. Transfer hot mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicon mat and spread evenly to cool.

  6. Once granola is completely cool, transfer into an airtight container. Serve over yogurt and fruit, on smoothies or by itself. Stays fresh for up to 1 month. Makes about five cups.
