Diets You will be surprised at how kid friendly this dish is. It’s chock full of protein and fiber. Fun to eat and can easily be prepped in advance!
Yields: 8 wraps
1 can refried beans
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 (6.35-ounce) block Chevington Cheddar Cheese
1 package Pas Whole Wheat Wraps
In a bowl, mix the refried beans with the spices. Set aside.
Shred the Chevington cheese by hand (yes this step is a drop tedious but so worth it! Wow!). Set aside. (If you don’t have a hand grater you can slice the cheese very thin using a sharp knife.)
Place about three tablespoons of the refried beans in the center of the wrap and spread, top with cheese. Fold up.
Heat a griddle (I used a Betty) or a frying pan with some cooking spray and toast the folded wraps for approximately two minutes on each side until golden.
Serve with salsa.
