We took the classic tea party sandwiches and turned them into adorable appetizers! These refreshing hors d’oeuvres are a beautiful and delicious way to snack during teatime.
1 cup salted butter, softened
1/2 cup chives, minced
2 large, seedless cucumbers
8 ounces smoked salmon
fresh dill for garnish
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whip the butter and chives with a hand mixer. Then, refrigerate the chive butter until it’s time for plating.
Slice the cucumbers into 1/2-inch pieces. Spread a half teaspoon of chive butter onto each cucumber slice. Top each slice with a small amount of smoked salmon, and garnish each with fresh dill.
