Prepare the Brownies

  1. In a two-quart saucepan, melt margarine, sugar, and water. Bring just to a boil and add one cup of chocolate chips (reserve remaining chocolate chips) and vanilla.

  2. Stir quickly until smooth and remove from heat. Add two eggs, quickly blending into the mixture in the pot. Add dry ingredients.

  3. Stir in the rest of the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if desired.

  4. Pour into greased nine-inch square pan and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 35 minutes.

    The easiest thing I've made that was really really yummy! I would wait a bit for batter to cool because second lot of chocolate chips melted
