This pizza recipe has been in my family for years. What I love about it is that the dough does not need to rise, which makes the pizza ready in fairly quick amount of time. I love to create different kinds of toppings and let each of my kids choose the slice they like best! You can buy a pizza stone to create a crispier bottom. They are not expensive and they make a big difference. Enjoy!

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Place sugar and yeast in the warm water and stir softly till dissolved.

3.

Place flour, salt and oil in a large mixing bowl pour the warm water mixture. Gently knead until everything is well combined and the dough is smooth.

4.

Sprinkle some flour on the counter and roll out the dough in a circle or rectangle.

5.

Place the dough on a greased cookie sheet or pizza stone.

6.

Add marinara sauce. Sprinkle cheese and sautéed vegetables.

7.

Place in oven for about 15-20 minutes until the crust browns and cheese is melted.
