Everything Crackers

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil

  • 1/2 cup water, plus more for brushing

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with Gefen Parchment Paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, two tablespoons everything seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Add the olive oil and 1/2 cup water, mixing until a loose dough forms. Knead the dough by hand and then gather it into a smooth ball. Set aside to rest for 10 minutes.

On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough very thinly, to between 1/16-inch and 1/8-inch thick.

With a knife or a fluted pizza wheel/pastry cutter, cut the crackers into rectangles measuring about one inch by three inches.

5.

Transfer the crackers to the prepared baking sheets. Brush with water and sprinkle with more everything seasoning, pressing it into the dough.

6.

Bake 12–14 minutes, until golden brown.
