Farina with Oatmeal Crunch

Ingredients

Farina

  • dash of salt

  • 1 slice American cheese (for a creamy texture; you can leave it out if you want)

Oatmeal Crunch

Directions

Prepare the Farina

1.

Heat the milk and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted.

2.

Add the sugar and vanilla and mix. Once it starts to boil, add the farina and salt and mix well.

3.

Let cook for five minutes.

4.

Once removed from heat, add the American cheese and blend with a hand blender.

Prepare the Oatmeal Crunch

1.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

2.

Pour into a lined baking sheet and spread out.

3.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.

4.

Use the oatmeal crunch to top the farina.
