8 oz whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 bar Shufra chocolate, melted
1 package Gefen Puff Pastry dough, thawed
1 egg, beaten, for egg wash
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix cream cheese and sugars with a hand blender. Add egg and chocolate. Mix until incorporated.
Divide dough in 6 rectangles. Place horizontally on a floured surface. Make 1/2-inch slits about 2 and 1/2 inches long in the bottom edge of dough.
Spoon a strip of filling in the top edge of dough. Roll tightly starting at the top going down all the way over the slits. Place seam side down. Bring the end of roll together to form a ring, and seal with your fingers.
Brush with beaten egg. Bake for 35 minutes.
