This is a tasty, fried Gefilte fish dish that will add grace to your Shabbos table on Friday night.
From my mother’s Shabbos table to yours, with warm Shabbos wishes!
1 roll gefilte fish of your choice
1 egg
1 head of garlic
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
1 large carrot (about a 1/2 a cup grated)
Defrost one roll of frozen gefilte fish in a bowl. It should take about 2 and 1/2 hours.
Peel one carrot, and one head of garlic. Wash and check the parsley. Shred the carrots.
Place the egg, garlic, and the parsley, together in the blender for one minute.
Pour the pureed egg mixture in the bowl with the defrosted gefilte Fish. Add the grated carrots.
Mix thoroughly by hand.
Heat a frying pan with oil to cover the bottom of the frying pan.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop small balls into the hot oil. Flatten the balls with a fork.
Fry each side for about five to ten minutes until slightly brown. Serve warm.

Haven’t tried this yet, but it sounds like way way too much garlic, and I like garlic. One head garlic sounds like overkill.
