Full-Flavored Sauteed Cabbage

  • 1 head white cabbage, checked and shredded

  • 2 tablespoons oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • soy sauce (use a wheat-free version for gluten-free), to taste (I use Kikkoman)

Directions

1.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until golden and fragrant.

2.

Add the cabbage and continue sautéing until it begins to soften. Drizzle in some soy sauce and stir continuously to ensure even flavor distribution. Serve warm.

I find that adding about 1/2 cup of water towards the end of the cooking time softens the cabbage and adds flavor as well.
