Diets I started making Muddy Buddies 14 years ago and never stopped; it’s a weekly Shabbos staple in my house. When I have extra treats lying around that I want to use up, I add it to the mixture for a snack that’s even more fun.
1/2 cup Gefen Peanut Butter
1 9-ounce bag chocolate chips
9 ounces Corn Chex (3/4 box)
2 cups cinnamon cereal, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch
handful chocolate-covered pretzels (optional)
mini pretzels (optional)
colored lentils (optional)
toffee candies (optional)
butterscotch-flavored chips (optional)
any other nosh you want to use up
Place chocolate and peanut butter in a 9×13-inch pan. Cover and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add cereal and mix.
Add confectioners’ sugar.
Add snacks and mix.
