Garlic-Dill Lettuce Salad

Garlic and dill … mmmm … on any chef’s “favorites” list.

Ingredients

Salad

  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds

  • 4 cloves garlic, such as Mr. Dipz Peeled Garlic, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 package iceberg or romaine lettuce

  • almonds, for garnish

  • garlic slices, for garnish

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 3 to 4 sprigs dill

Directions

Prepare the Salad

1.

Sauté 3/4 cup slivered almonds with four cloves garlic in one tablespoon oil. Set aside. Place lettuce in a salad bowl.

2.

For dressing, in a separate bowl, blend lemon juice, vinegar, salt, sugar, oil, and dill.

Pour dressing over lettuce and garnish with almond and garlic slices.
