Diets This is the simplest way to make garlicky mashed potatoes. Serve alongside this delicious rib-eye steak.
2 pounds (1 kilogram) red potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 cloves garlic, such as Mr. Dipz Peeled Garlic, halved
1/2 cup unsweetened soy or coconut milk
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon Haddar Salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon Pereg Pepper, or to taste
Place potatoes and garlic in a medium saucepan; cover with cold water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 12 minutes or until the potatoes are very tender. Drain in a colander. Return to pan.
Add soy or coconut milk, oil, salt and pepper. Mash with a potato masher to desired consistency.
