I decided to share one of my secret recipes from my business, Grain, since I know it would benefit many of you who are tryng to adjust to a healthy lifestyle, and for those of you who have a hard time finding delicious egg free recipes! This is a delicious way to add in secret veggies to your children’s (or your) desserts, while keeping their delicious flavors and sweetness! You’ll never know it’s healthy!
1 cup any nut butter
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
3/4 cup mashed butternut squash (you can bake it wrapped in foil, cook or steam it, until soft)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
Mix together the nut butter, maple syrup, butternut squash, vanilla, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, in that order. Bake on 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Cool before slicing.
Enjoy!
